Property description
Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Glan Morfa are proud GOLD Green Tourism members. Glan Morfa offers a unique holiday and short break spot for those wishing to experience the unspoilt beauty of the Island of Anglesey, recently nominated the second most popular holiday destination in the UK.
There are six spacious and well designed stone-built cottages. The cottages are equipped and furnished to a high standard with all lodges benefitting from an electric hob cooker, fridge and/or freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave. All are equipped with colour TV's. The internal photos within the brochure detail the furnishings provided. All furnishing and equipment will be sold with the business.
The cottages are set in 37 acres of nature-park, including two lakes, making it an ideal holiday spot for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers as well as for those who simply wish to relax while enjoying the beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Glan Morfa is also very popular with stargazers, being a designated dark sky spot.
Glan Morfa is located within two miles of Newborough Forest and the outstanding Blue Flag beach at Llanddwyn. The mountains of Snowdonia provide a perfect back drop to Glan Morfa and are within easy reach for those with more adventurous activity in mind; as are the historic towns of Beaumaris and Caernarfon for anyone favouring more leisurely pursuits.
As detailed Glan Morfa is graded Green Tourism GOLD. Hot water is heated by solar energy combined with an Air source heating and water system, a reed bed system that takes away the waste water and wind turbine.
Additional buildings include a laundry building and a cabin with a library/events space, an office, kitchenette, WC and store. At the entrance to the park is an old farm building that could be converted to an additional lodge (STPP). It is presently used as a games room, laundry room, store/WC
